Receiver's register of U.S. Treasury notes received in payment for land, September 1-November 10, 1838.

List is of notes issued by U.S. Treasury under an act of Congress of October 12, 1837, and received at Danville in payment for land. Entries for each note received include Receiver's receipt number, serial number and denomination of note, date of issue, rate of interest, amount of interest accumulated, total value based on interest plus principal, date note received, name of person from whom received, certificate number, date of cancellation and name of person by whom canceled.
